During the Summer of 2012 I was honored to do an artist residency at the Baer Art Center in Iceland. The work I did while there focussed on the constantly evolving Icelandic landscape; the interaction and interdependence between land/sky/sea that is ever-present, rugged, and achingly beautiful. The images in this series are composites comprised of photographic images, charcoal sketches, and digital drawing and painting.
